Private Residence Frascati
The architectural project and interior design.
A newly-built private single house of around 500 sq.m. with contemporary architectural lines, arranged on two floors above ground and a basement. The entire project is characterised by a minimalist style.
The big open space of the living area of more than 100 sq.m. is accentuated by the large windows and by the completely transparent internal connecting stairs. In addition, the wide transparent surfaces create a spatial continuum between indoors and outdoors; it’s a permeable architecture in which the windows overlooking the green area with a swimming pool play a fundamental part in maximising the use of the space.
Natural materials and material-effect stoneware of various colours have been used, in line with the client’s wish for a home which is modern and minimalist. The single house expresses a balance between aesthetics and functionality, as requested by the client and reinterpreted with “tailored” solutions with particular attention towards the quality of the spaces and the best possible technical and aesthetic solutions.
