LEED
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
Already implemented in 40 countries, the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification system rates and certifies the environmental, social and economic sustainability of buildings considered in their entirety.
According to LEED classification criteria, construction materials with high levels of eco-sustainability contribute to earning credits and raising the building’s rating.
We certify that the Ariostea tiles in question contain more than 40% pre- and post-consumer recycled material: therefore they guarantee the highest LEED ratings.
Thanks to important investments in dedicated technologies, Ariostea has made it possible to convert unusable and environmentally harmful materials (their own and from other sources) into semi-processed goods which, after being transformed and purified, are re-used in its manufacturing cycle.
BREEAM CERTIFICATION:
(BRE Environmental Assessment Method)
It is the most widespread standard in the world and it is designed to measure the environmental impact of buildings by applying specific criteria for assessing the sustainability of the construction. The rating system requires types of certification determined by strict technical parameters and quality control which in turn are based on the most recent technology and knowledge available.
